I love life and want to go for the gusto. God continues to move me out of my “comfort zone,” and my music, website and writings may have the same effect on you!

When I was just 9 years old, my dad gave me a guitar—and that was the beginning of a lifelong interest in singing, songwriting and worship leading. My first memories of performing publicly were singing for my grandparents and playing at the folk mass in the church my family attended.

In the years since then, I’ve recorded 3 CDs and performed at a wide variety of concerts, weddings, funerals, church services, hospitals, conferences and radio programs. More and more, I see God giving me open doors to bring His presence to the marketplace through special events like the National Day of Prayer and Cancer Survivors Day.

I’m a nurse by profession, and it’s no accident that people tell me my songs convey a healing quality that brings comfort and hope. Most of the songs were born out of my personal battles and victories, as I gave my cares to the Lord and drew near to Him in worship and prayer. Listeners to my music can tell I’ve “been there,” and I’m not just offering a bunch of pat answers.

Life is a journey, as we’re told in Psalm 84:5: “Blessed are those whose strength is in You, who have set their hearts on pilgrimage.” As you join me on this pilgrimage today, I pray that your heart will be encouraged with fresh vision and joy.
